Guards stand watch over one of four elevators taken out of commission by UC officials on Friday. After repeated issues with a lack of safeguards preventing accidents, local authorities made their first steps towards responding to public outcry by promising a full inquiry and looking into alternative transportation. "We just don't have the overhead for permanent portal systems like Dalaran," said an unnamed source, "but I think we might be able to swing one of those nifty lifts from Mass Effect.
