As a regular on the Starcraft subreddit, I’ve had the pleasure of helping fan the flames on an image meme that reddit user electronhead got started called “Forever Bronze”. After creating a new template, I started rendering some of the ideas were getting tossed out in the chat room and added a few of my own. Click below to see a full collection of my favorites. Be sure to check out the original thread and my followup as well to see some of the others that people have made and suggested. (Included at the bottom of this post is a blank template to create your own as well. Font: Impact.)

We’re going to try something a little different for once. Tomorrow the 29th, Mike and I are going to work on a collection of strips to give us a buffer, which is important for webcomic authors to not be chained to always working on the strip every other night. But at the same time, we’re going to give you a chance to participate a bit and get to know us better, so we’ll be streaming the whole creation process live online, similar to what other authors like Penny Arcade and PvP do, but a bit more laid back and interactive. Almost like we’re making a netcast, but we happen to be making strips in the process.
In any case, we’ll be broadcasting tomorrow at 2PM Central time until whenever. Keep an eye on our Twitter feed or Facebook Page for link information and updates. We’re really excited about experimenting with this and we hope it will be entertaining for everyone, including us.
See you then!
If you can’t see the comic, the formatting seems off, or your cat is on fire, it’s because I haven’t posted here directly before now and I did it wrong the first time. If any of these things have happened,
do not panic.
The art slave will append whatever errors I’ve laid forth, I assure you. It is in his excellently worded, nearly incomprehensible contract. Let this be a lesson to those of you that like to sign things after you’ve been drinking.
Greetings…blinkers? blinkettes? Blinks? Whatever you call yourselves when you gather together, huddled around your monitors like cavemen awaiting the sunrise, your drums the frenetic sound of F5 being worn to a nub in anticipation of a new DB post. I don’t actually have anything of substance to say, I just wanted to vomit words all over your internets to inform you that I can, and from this day forward, will with some frequency. At some point i’ll probably say something about the comic. But not today. Not today.
