This is one of the best comic strips i have ever read. It’s really entertaining the time i sit bored in front of my working desk, giving me some inspiration.

Dear gods, I LOVE this webcomic. I’ve gamed for over a decade, and this is damn near spot-on for many of our games, regardless of their genre or setting.
This same group also did one from 2006-2007, called DM of the Rings, when they did the exact same thing with Lord of the Rings. It’s not quite as funny as D&Ds, but it’s still a hilarious take on LOTR, and part of the “gaming group” that is “playing” D&Ds splintered off of the group that was “playing” LOTR. DM of the Rings.
Pardon the extra pimpage in here, but it’d be a shame if it didn’t get some love, too, and I’m not sure if Darths & Droids even links to it anywhere. If my remark is inappropriate or spam-ish, then have the mods nuke it from orbit; I’m still a bit fuzzy on the rules ’round here. Cheers!

Actually, in the very first strip of Darths & Droids it’s brought up that DM of the Rings was the inspiration for doing the comic once it had ended, along with a link to it. Both of these are definitely worth a read for anyone that hasn’t checked them out before.
every D&D session I’ve been in went along something like this + Alcohol.
