The biggest problem I found is Cataclysm and the fact they gave the most vocal players what they wanted, harder dungeons.
People may have complained about it, but a lot of people *wanted* those face-roll dungeons so they could work on getting the real loot they wanted, they didn’t want to actually have to work on it more than time put in. Heroic HoR is a perfect example, people hated it in the queue rotation because it actually required effort. Heroic Oc is another good example because you couldn’t just face roll it for loot.
They took away the easy heroics, a major source of entertainment for the people that did not raid and didn’t enjoy PvP, so subscriber numbers will continue to drop, especially in the face of Diablo 3, something that is going to scratch the dungeon crawl itch without requiring to count on other people having enough of a pulse to not do stupid mistakes that wipe the group and start the chat rage fest.
Dragonwrath is in this picture because it was requested at Blizzcon 2010. Someone asked, “When are we going to see another caster legendary that is not a mace,” during the Cataclysm Quests and Lore panel and Blizzard asked the guy, “What do you want?”
List of references as far as I seem to get them:
* Scorpion Mount
* Jeeves
* Mankirk
* Guardian Cub (a way to get store pets w/o paying)
* Dragonwrath (Caster legendary)
* Goblins playable
* Top hat (for non-worgens)
* Replica gear
* Reputation tabards
* Transmogrification (dungeon set usable w/o losing stats. The fact that the guy has DW says something)
Well this is true, blizz haven’t really fucked up all that much with wow.
Its not like compared to other expansions this has just failed. game is just starting to get too old.
They would have more subscribers if they BUFFED MAGES!! xD
Indeed. Where the HELL is that crafted tophat tailoring pattern?!
ME DORF NEEDS A TOPHAT.
coming in 4.3 finally
So, Jeeves, Scorp mount, Celestial pet, Heirlooms, Mankrik, Top hat, playable goblins, what else am I missing?
What’s Dragonwrath doing there?
I don’t see a pony there.

I see what you did there.
Also Rep tabards. Dragonwrath would be the caster legendary people were demanding for years.
i thought dynoblast was your warrior. *confused*
Ah. It doesn’t help that I do not recognize the tabard in question.
I believe that’s the Undercity tabard, Fran.
The tabard is undercity

But Where is TRH? I WANT A TRH WITH A BELF ON IT DAMNIT!
Where’s the dance studio?
@ Tim, you might be somehow right with this, alltough meanwhile you can get from fresh level 85 to ilvl 356 easily in a day or two, even with a dps.
so you outgear heroic 5man dungeons almost emediatly. they where hard at the start of cata, but now they are even easier then in Wrath.

The goblin is also dressed in heirlooms (shoulders and robe)
Tabard is that of the Undercity.
Ah, Undercity.
I rerolled Alliance before reputation tabards ‘ve been implemented.
Gnome-punting. Always a good decision.
That’s my catchphrase when I see a troll, in WoW or on an article about WoW. I just change it to “We see you trolling, we hating…”.
They give all we ask for? where is my free full PvP gear set?
Well this is true, blizz haven’t really fucked up all that much with wow.

I didn’t get the Mankrik one…
There was no raid tier hunter gun or continuation of the Bronzebeard storyline in the pic so I was utterly confused.
