@CaptainTool: 90s kids didn’t have any cool cartoons to emulate. While we had GI Joe, He-Man, Transformers and the Thundercats, you had Power Rangers, Tiny Toons and Pokemon. There’s a little bit of a dropoff.
I decided to test this with my 33-year old boyfriend. He instantly got hat it was at a glance. Took me a little bit longer to realise it, but I’m only 25.
@JesRaven: but we are getting our own version of Pokemon in MoP. Pet Battles have been added to the Beta. It appears that even catching new pets may be the same as Pokemon.
Love the comic, even though I was not a big fan of He-Man. Where is my Thundercats and TNMT?!

@Alayea: The 2 Transformers references I can think of off the top of my head are the Negatron quest chain at Area 52 in Netherstorm, and the boss Grimlock in Uldaman (“Me, Grimlock SMASH”).
I am under 30 (for the moment ::sighs::) and I would sell my left kidney (but not my right, its the lucky one) for Mists of Eternia.

I was so excited to do all the challenge modes, on every character.

The Winna’s Kitten skin color is actually called “Cringer” if you look it up in a model viewer.
